Silent Running. Sure it was supposed to be a leftist eco-tree hugger movie, but, in the end, I saw this guy as a true conservative:
The government tells you to destroy your vessel and the things that you think are worth keeping. You tell them to pound sand and take off for the rings of Saturn.
