A touching video of a dog refusing to leave another dog after the earthquake and tsunami in Japan has been spreading across the Internet.
The dogs were recently videotaped by a news crew from Fuji TV and the video was posted on YouTube.
Both dogs were found alive in Mito, Ibarak, a city on Japan's eastern coast, northeast of Tokyo. The two dogs were rescued, thanks to the efforts of Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support. The dogs were first taken to a vet clinic in Mito and then to a shelter in the same area.
The video below became viral on the Internet and was generating thousands of page views and hundreds of comments from animal lovers.
As one dog rescuer posted on Facebook, "But please know that those two are just the tip of the iceberg. There are more and we need help."
Howdy back!
can you post the links (or mail them). I am on a couple Palin groups. I found one R & Q thread but it did not say FR as I recall... but that is okay, just wondering if it is the same one
I am on FB HERE
Dogs are great! Very moving video and thanks!
You’re welcome :)
Thanks JCB. My favorite. Imnagine a compassionate animal! Who would have thought.
Persistence. They don’t call it dogged for nothing.
Me too. Except for guy part.
The recent movie doesn’t tell Hachiko’s story. They changed much of the story.

Heartbreaking and heartwarming. I hope the story they have been rescued is true.
I agree and when people call criminals animals it is an insult to animals
Explains why Muslims don’t like dogs or is that racist?
No. You hit the nail on the head......;)
