There is no question we should be investigating the radicalization of American Muslims. But by “we” I mean the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and local law enforcement – not Peter King.
If you ask law enforcement officials why there hasn’t been a second al Qaeda attack since 9-11, they invariably tell you it is because the U.S. – unlike Europe and parts of Asia – does not have pools of highly radicalized Muslims. America assimilates immigrants well.

Who does he thinks MAKES the laws? And who does he think funds the law enforcement agencies?
They are just supposed to fund Janet Incompetano and shut up? I don’t think so.
King isn't the sharpest tool on the bench, so I don't expect much to come out of this, but at least there might be some discussion of the issue.
Fareed Zakaria is a Muslim and his father had radical views, so No surprise.

I would agree with that. Congressional investigations of other than the executive branch are way beyond their constitutional authority, except that this administration is too busy groping us in the airports to do anything about terrorism.
Congress would have no reason to exist if it does not try to protect this country.
Before the multiculturalism craze came along, it would take 2-3 generations before immigrants would assimilate fully. Now that diversity is our guiding light, it will probably take longer. I doubt that we have that much time.

While it’s true that Bin Laden and AQ are perpetrating economic and cultural jihad on our country, I’m so tired of hearing all the government lefties constantly talk about AQ solely as if we’re stupid, when there are so MANY radical Islamic groups, and now the independents as well.
And Zakaria and his ilk are just plain wrong (or lying) about no attacks since 9/11. There were numerous plots uncovered (but thwarted under GW, due to his vigil, dedication and great intel and police work). But under Obama? Too many actual attacks to count, because our enemies know he’s weak, or worse, secretly indifferent to our safety - our head of Homeland Security is a joke, the department even has a Muslim in an authority position, and our Department of Justice is itself criminal.
Ft. Hood shooter, underwear bomber, Christmas Day bomber, Little Rock shooter, bombings overseas where Americans and our allies are, the list goes on and on. They were all actual attacks. What does Fareed consider an attack, another 9-11 type or worse?
I fear them all, violent AND stealth. I knew that if the worst happened in Nov. ‘08 (and it did), we’d be in great danger - from without AND within. I hope and pray that we aren’t cursed with the One for a second term. I even worry about how much more damage he’s busy doing until then.

I know, so is Amanpour. For anyone who thinks CNN gives the best news coverage, think again. And FZ and CA are both considered “journalists”. Give me a break. Their shows are always anti-American, anti-Israel commentaries.
