Just the fact that the population has been dumbed down to the moron level, electing a Marxist, and probably illegal puppet, as POTUS told me that America’s days are numbered.

America's moron level is what's got me scared s-less. We've become the joke of the planet and prime pickin' for the evil doers.

Even still, getting 56,000 troops out "easily" will take a great deal of effort. You must have never been in the Military before. That's all I can say about your gross lack of understanding. It would take over 2 weeks of intense Logistical effort to get that many out "quickly".

(sigh) Don't you people watch the news? I was being a smartass. I was cracking wise about the evacuation of Americans from Lybia where we ordered a ferry too small to carry them all at one time so it had to make several trips.

The correct term is AFTER-Birthers not anti-Birthers. First you had the Birthers then those who are against us AFTER-Birthers, because they came after.

“Goldman had it’s hands in most of it.”

Goldman was one of the first big banks to find out they’d been had by Moody’s and the other credit laundering firms.

Moody’s was looking at the ZZZ rated mortgages behind the mortgage backed bonds, and then closing the box and putting ‘AAA’ on it. AIG was selling insurance on the bonds and thinking they were minting money for free. Moody’s says it’s AAA, so who I am to look?

Goldman was doing the same, until hedges like Frontpoint started shorting the entire market. Goldman, once they figured it out, started shorting their own clients.

In effect, as soon as they knew the theater was on fire, they ran out, and then locked the doors behind them leaving everyone to burn.

In the end, the irony was Buffett, who owned 20 percent of Moody’s, loaned Goldman about $5BB at some ungodly rate - like 10 percent or something. Goldman was the least damaged of the biggies. Jamie Dimon at JPM never got his bank involved in any of it, it seems.

So, Buffett uses Moody’s to manufacture bonds backed by $750K mortgages made to illegal immigrant strawberry pickers (true story) into AAA rated bonds that your pension fund and life insurance company can buy.

When Goldman is about to fold, Buffett rides in and offers cash to keep them open at something just below usury rates, and is touted in the press as a hero.

Everybody thinks he’s some kindly grandpa, but he’s every bit as big a scumbag as Soros. Soros only shorted the Pound Sterling. Buffett wrecked the entire economy.

Liz Claman practically sleeps with the man in interviews with him on Fox. Revolting.

I did not say that it is impossible for widespread hunger to happen in the U.S. I said there is NO reason for it to happen. Even with high oil prices.

The cause of it happens will be the effects of HR2748/S.510/HR2751 FDA Food Takeover Bill that the Lame Duck Session passed and the resident at 1600 Penn. Ave. signed into law. Projected cost 1.4 Billion dollars. 15-17,000 new food inspectors, many in foreign countries, which are said will be paid for by producer fees. That will boost food cost and I expect it to produce no improvement in the quality or safety.

Simply more bureaucracy.

And then there’s oil as a renewable resource, what happened in the Gulf and more. They have their boy in the white house now but their days, like his, are numbered.

As long as we want to stay, we will stay. When we want to leave, we will leave. And there isn’t a force there that can say otherwise and enforce it.

When someone offers to lease your mineral rights, look over the deal. Don't sell the rights, but lease them for exploration purposes for a number of years, for whatever you can get per acre, and the best royalty deal you can cut, which varies from 12.5% to 20% of production. The period of the lease should be specified, during which time frame the oil company has to drill a well and have production to hold the lease by production, from which you get royalty payments.

Depending on how much acreage your mineral rights cover, they may or may not need to establish a drilling location on your property, a production location, and access roads, and even a pipeline right-of-way to get the oil out. These are separate deals and involve location site leases, specific designs, siting, and rights of way and generally pay what are known as surface damages.

Make sure you are happy with the siting arrangements, including proximity to any dwellings and or outbuildings, favorite spots, prime cropland, watersheds, etc. Make sure the construction people stick to the specifications. There should also be provisions for reclamation of the site and access roads. If you aren't sure about the deal (it is a contract), consult an attorney you can trust.

Exactly! The facts he brings to our notice are scary. And is their accuracy contrevertible? Think not. Is the vitriol some are throwing at one of our champions for the American way against the corrupt criminal enterprise which is the Oba-Hussein administration because he is a Mormon?

Can’t be based on his facts being wrong.

As a person who watches what Obama is doing to the USA and can directly reflect it in what Khomeini did to Iran - using Soviet playbook tactics - Glen Beck is spot on.

Except for one thing. Obama’s damage level is global and almost instantaneous while Khomeini and Carter initially disrupted the Niddles East and the terrorism they created took decades to emerge in force. And has now been accelerated by the current enterprise running America.

If you want a religious “enemy” don’t attack a patriot, Mormon Beck, save your barbs for the pseudo-religion of the Moslem Brotherhood and their ilk who want us destroyed, not left alive and well as Beck clearly wants.

AIRPLANES! The same damn way they got there.

Put DOWN THE REMOTE and STEP AWAY FROM THE TV !

Tell them about the 8000' foot vertical glide slope into Baghdad International Airport (have they stocked the restrooms with toilet paper yet?)

Well, there aren't any bathrooms on the C-130s (I think they have a bucket - LOL), but Gryphon has decent ones.

I use both methods of transportation these days. :)

I'm one of those weird people who thinks the corkscrew landing is fun.

We're not worried about it.

We're going to draw down in accordance with the current plan in place.

The media's getting everybody all wound up. Those of us who have been in Iraq for a long time have seen much worse than this.

Hyperbole sells.

Reality drives.

Then if you haven't tried it - you would love skydiving.
I was referring, of course, to the bathrooms in the magnificent BIAP, but then it is early where you are. {;^)

The muslims in the Middle East, or our troops there?

'Tis 6:34 p.m. now. :)

You mean those trailers there at the PAX Terminal?

They're not tto bad now - and they're air-conditioned. They're better than the Porta-Johns that were our only option in the early days.

Never over-complicate the issues, seek the simplest explanations. Glenn sometimes gets carried away.
