Did You know that 30% of these poor underpaid, overworked Teachers in Wisconsin are sending their own Kids to Private Schools!!! Thats pretty revealing....the Public Schools aren’t good enough for these High Rollers....Must be nice!
And it is one more step on the way to dissolving public service employee unions. That is what this fight is about! One step at a time and it will get done.
Well that’s an interesting bit of news. Would be interesting to target those teachers and send it to Fox. Also the tea party people.
Now we know why the Democrats want the death panels. It’s for the monster THEY created ;)
I am not surprised by the numbers...I knew we were wasting a lot of money on public education. But I do not understand the “Teachers salary...including home schoolers”. Last time I checked as a home schooling parent...the state is not paying my to teach my own kids...I do that on my own.
>>for 180 days work<<
Do you realize, teachers are NOT paid for the time they do not work during the summer. They are paid for 180-5 days [what ever their district mandates.]
How many paid sick days do cops and fire fighters get? Other state/city workers?
Teachers in Florida - and most States - have an option of being paid for the full year or the time they work. Because the ‘time they work’ gives them a higher paycheck, most opt for that... Also many teachers get part time jobs in the summer - kind of like ‘double dipping’. Please don’t cry for them... it lacks dignity.
Thank you
PFFT! All you posters who have a hard-on for teachers can shove it. I feel sorry for you that you never had a teacher who influenced you in a positive way. Meh.
And the people who habitually whine about teachers’ pay/bennies should get the laws regarding teachers in their state changed or put a lid on it.
Probably been posted over and over but it’s a good one;
Here are the Teacher’s salaries the Union doesn’t want you to know;
The average Milwaukee Public School teacher will be receiving $100,005 in compensation this year $56,500 of that is in salary, and a whopping $43,505 is in benefits.
Thank you
You’re very welcome!
“My mother-in-law CANT afford to stop teaching because the pensions have been reduced as much as they have.”
I notice you didn’t include any dollar amount. How much money does your mother-in-law earn in retirement vs active teaching?
