I just gotta ask, what percentage of fault do the parents ascribe to their daughter for deciding to voluntarily take part in the Polar Bear Plunge?
What percentage of the blame did the parents place on themselves for not being smart enough to stop their daughter from taking part in this event?
So whatever this kid did, if anything bad ever happened to her, it would always be someone else’s fault? She’s never responsible for anything that happens to her, ever?

'I just gotta ask, what percentage of fault do the parents ascribe to their daughter for deciding to voluntarily take part in the Polar Bear Plunge?'That's the thing...she DIDN'T take part. She went out and got drunk and apparently either dove off the pier or fell off in the wee morning hours....after the event.

The link to the news article at the time of her death makes clear she was no kid...she was 35 years old!
