After a bit of early movement, the betting line for Super Bowl 45 has settled, staying in the same place for the better part of the last week. Like any Super Bowl, betting will fluctuate in the two weeks leading up to the game itself, with action coming in heavy early and late. In the middle, the period were in right now, there tends to be a lull in betting, as evidenced by the lack of movement either way in this years line.
As it stands right now, the Green Bay Packers are favored between 2.5 and 3 points over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Currently, the over/under sits at between 44.5 and 45,

” with a dynamic running back taking the reigns”
Given Rashard Mendenhall’s performance last week—basically, aside from a few key third down throws from Ben, carrying the offense—and the fact that he was a 1,200-yard rusher this year, and the Pack’s weak run defense, I find this supposed advantage highly dubious.
Neal Dahlen.
He has five with the 49ers as a player and a coach. He has two others from Denver as a GM.

Good advice. Truth be told, I’m not much of a gambler anyway.
Steel -vs- cheese.
the question was “player” though
That honor goes to Charles Haley. Got two with the Niners and three with the Cowboys. All five came when he was a pure player.
good job.
and how many Super Bowl rings do the current Pack have?
I was unclear perhaps, but I was talking bout Starks.
I dunno, but I'll say the same number as they'll have by Feb. 7.
None.................right now.
After Sunday, I hope the entire Packer team has a championship ring on order.
This is also good...

Go STEELERS!
Tricky Nixon and the Real Don Steele!
Def Backfield; Safties-edge Pgh, DBs-even
Linebackers; are you kidding?
D Line; I'd call it even though experts lean GB, but Pgh has Kiessel and Woods who are very dynamic and don't get their due.
The Def. then is clearly edge Pgh.
O line; Edge GB, but this maybe the least important element of the game.
RB; Clear Pgh advantage, they have 3 servicable RBs, GB has 1/2.
TE; Clear Pgh edge.
WR; the experts point to this as the deciding factor in favor of GB, and they are good, but Pgh has deep speed w/ 3 separate guys and savvy underneath w/ 2 separate guys (Ward and Randle El). I don't see this as the fulcrum to decide the game.
QB; Rodgers is the flavor of the month, Ben just wins. 4th quarter, tight game, nobody and I mean nobody, is better than Ben going back to Montana.
Pgh has more O weapons than GB.
I'm a Pgh guy and so I'm biased, but I really can't see how GB is the better team.
Nope, they'll need to order these instead:
CHARLES HALEY
The Steelers will have a healthy Troy and he will be allowed to play for real, unlike the past two games where he played 30 yards off the line. Look for Rodgers to spend a lot of time on the ground under a heap of Steelers. He might run away from an occassional defender but having three guys chase you is just too much for the an average quarterback like him. You gotta remember he has not faced a defense like the Steelers at all.
Look for Ben to get the MVP and Wallace to race to several touchdowns. Big Miller over the middle will make Matthews look average by the games end and the three running backs will be having a field day as the fudge packers defense covers the steelers Wallace and rookies on the deep routes. Then we have Ward taking out Matthew with some precision blocking that will make Clays head spin all day long.
The Steelers will win this one for The Hotel since he deserves at least one ring in his career. We may even get a glimpse of the very best center the NFL has ever seen. Yep, even better than Mike Webster and Dermontti Dawson put together is Maurkice Pouncey. A true giant among men.
It will time for the Pack to go home and smell the cheese rotting inside them after this game. Might end up being the most lopsided game in the Super Bowl history.
As far as brewcrew goes all i can say is I fart in your general direction and a Limburger one too!
Have a sweet day.
You are a very strange and small man.

Jerry Jones reminds me of P T Barnum, who’s famously quoted as saying: “There’s a sucker born every minute.”
GO PACK GO!
