That's the question you need to be asking, now that the new Donk governor has inadvertently cast doubt on the integrity of Hawaii's vital records.

But in any case, to make your point, you need to (1) prove the document exists, and (2) show that it falsely states Maya Obama was born in Hawaii.

If you can do (1) and (2), then you get to trash the Hawaii regime and demand Abercrombie fix it or be impeached, and you score a huge point against Obama. However, despite having proven Hawaii is not an authoritative source, you'd still need to prove Obama wasn't born in Hawaii by showing he was actually born outside the US (to the satisfaction of 67 sitting senators).

The problem for the hundred or so judges and justices that have entertained legal briefs from plaintiffs in 89 different lawsuits challenging whether Obama is eligible to be president or not, including 12 attempts at the Supreme Court of the United States is that in 2007, a Republican Administration in Hawaii issued a Certification of Live Birth to Barack Hussein Obama II which states that he was born at 7:24 p.m. on August 4, 1961 and that the birth occurred in the City of Honolulu, in the County of Honolulu, on the Island of Oahu, in the state of Hawaii.
The administration of former Governor Lingle never offered one single statement which supported the positions of those who have challenged Obama’s eligibility. The Director of Health even went as far as to declare Obama a “natural born American citizen” and the Governor herself named “Kapiolani Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii” as the place of Obama’s birth. Those have been huge hurdles for the “Obama is ineligible” movement to overcome in the Courts.

Here’s what the Director of Communications for the state of Hawaii, Janice Okubo had to say about the issuance of birth documents to foreign born persons:“It’s crazy,” said Janice Okubo, director of communications for the Hawaii Department of Health. “I don’t think anything is ever going to satisfy them.”

Okubo, who said that she gets weekly questions from Obama ‘Birthers’ that are “more like threats,” explained that the certificate of live birth reproduced by Obama’s campaign should have debunked the conspiracy theories. “If you were born in Bali, for example,” Okubo explained, “you could get a certificate from the state of Hawaii saying you were born in Bali. You could not get a certificate saying you were born in Honolulu. The state has to verify a fact like that for it to appear on the certificate. But it’s become very clear that it doesn’t matter what I say. The people who are questioning this bring up all these implausible scenarios. What if the physician lied? What if the state lied? It’s just become an urban legend at this point.”
