Was Abercrombie’s “Quest” for Obama’s Long-Form Birth Certificate Staged?

(Jan. 22, 2011) — Yesterday an article was published in the Honolulu Star Advertiser entitled “Abercrombie Drops Quest for Obama’s Birth Certificate” written by an unnamed Associated Press writer. Here are my comments:

In an incredibly lame and cowardly anticlimactic announcement, hiding behind his spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie’s spokeswoman, in plain political defense, in the Hawaiian Sun Advertiser, said this:

There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document. Unfortunately, there are conspirators who will continue to question the citizenship of our president.

The Star Advertiser continues:

Abercrombie, who was a friend of Obama’s parents and knew him as a child, launched an effort last month to find a way to dispel conspiracy theories that the president was born elsewhere. The governor said at the time he was bothered by people who questioned Obama’s birthplace for political reasons.

But Abercrombie’s investigation reached a dead end when Louie told him the law restricted his options.

Here are several important points that need to be noted that only make the situation all the more suspicious to any reasonable person, Dela Cruz’s Hillary Clinton-esque “right-wing conspiracy defense” notwithstanding:

1 - Bad political news is always dropped late Friday at the end of the news cycle in the hope that it will disappear from general view. The timing almost conclusively suggests that they do not see this as a win for themselves.

2 - Rush Limbaugh has officially, albeit belatedly, entered the debate full-throttle with the opening of his show this same day, highlighting the absurdity of the Abercrombie quest investigation. This must have been pretty alarming to the Obama camp, as Limbaugh’s embracing of the issue is likely to make it safe for many others outside of Limbaugh’s 20,000,000-person listenership to do the same.

Article implies some states have passed legislation requiring long-form birth certificate in order to put a presidential candidate on ballot. Is this accurate? What states?

Not to mention Nancy Pelosi perjuring herself in 2008 by sending the HI elections supervisor a nomination cert stating that Barack Obama was eligible under the Constitution of the United States. Lets don’t leave Nancy out of thre RICO indictment when it comes down.

Makes those questioning eligibility look sane and rational. And read the linked article - why dump this late on Friday? That's when they dump news that's bad for them.

And the reasons why Hitlery would not have brought it up during the campaign have been discussed over and over and over again for the last couple of years. Two simple ones - 0h0m0 and the Clintons have so much dirt on each other that it's a MAD standoff. Plus, if Hitlery brought it up, the Dems would have gotten black voters to stay home, cries of "racism" etc would have been so loud and shrill eardrums would have burst.

Your "reasons" won't fly at all.

I don’t see how this has helped Obama, raising the BC issue once again when it was getting pretty quiet.

But I take one look at Abercrombie’s photo, and I say to myself, “That guy’s a true liberal jerk!” You could see some purpose for that beard if he lived in freezing Vermont, but in Hawaii? He just wants to be a bearded Marxist.

In other words, I think he’s just dumb, and went ahead with this on his own hook because he actually believes the liberal line, whatever it is, without ever actually applying any rational thought to it.

How can anyone trust Obama when he will not produce a valid birth certificate?

Yet based on the facts in his book, he is not a NBC (”natural born citizen”) and this issue is almost completely overlooked in comparison to the birth certificate.

There is trouble in River City.... he had to produce a birth cerificate to get a SS card and a US passport, drivers license, etc.

How did we allow this Communist to become President? Are we all so stupid that we do not stop this destruction of our Constitution and the great American country?

A signed release from Obama is not needed. Under Hawaii privacy statutes, Obama’s birth certificate can be released without Obama’s permission to: “a person whose right to inspect or obtain a certified copy of the record is established by an order of a court of competent jurisdiction.”[Hawaii Revised Statutes 338-18(b)(9)].

Any Republican chairperson of any House of Representatives Committee can issue a subpoena for Obama’s birth certificate or any state’s Attorney General where Obama’s name was on the ballot could also subpoena it.

What I read in this AP article states that no birth certificate, short or long form, was found.
