Was Abercrombie’s “Quest” for Obama’s Long-Form Birth Certificate Staged?
The Post & Email ^ | January 22, 2011 | G-Starz

(Jan. 22, 2011) — Yesterday an article was published in the Honolulu Star Advertiser entitled “Abercrombie Drops Quest for Obama’s Birth Certificate” written by an unnamed Associated Press writer. Here are my comments:

In an incredibly lame and cowardly anticlimactic announcement, hiding behind his spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie’s spokeswoman, in plain political defense, in the Hawaiian Sun Advertiser, said this:

There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document. Unfortunately, there are conspirators who will continue to question the citizenship of our president.

The Star Advertiser continues:

Abercrombie, who was a friend of Obama’s parents and knew him as a child, launched an effort last month to find a way to dispel conspiracy theories that the president was born elsewhere. The governor said at the time he was bothered by people who questioned Obama’s birthplace for political reasons.

But Abercrombie’s investigation reached a dead end when Louie told him the law restricted his options.

Here are several important points that need to be noted that only make the situation all the more suspicious to any reasonable person, Dela Cruz’s Hillary Clinton-esque “right-wing conspiracy defense” notwithstanding:

1 - Bad political news is always dropped late Friday at the end of the news cycle in the hope that it will disappear from general view. The timing almost conclusively suggests that they do not see this as a win for themselves.

2 - Rush Limbaugh has officially, albeit belatedly, entered the debate full-throttle with the opening of his show this same day, highlighting the absurdity of the Abercrombie quest investigation. This must have been pretty alarming to the Obama camp, as Limbaugh’s embracing of the issue is likely to make it safe for many others outside of Limbaugh’s 20,000,000-person listenership to do the same.

Schumer has long been a talking equine posterior. As a Congressman his campaign mainly targeted the elderly who he told: “Vote for me or they’ll take away your Social Security..”

I prefer to look at it this way: You aren’t going to boot him with a birther argument. There ARE ways to remove him from office legally—ways that will WORK.

The birther argument isn’t the way.

You keep moving your goalposts:

“You or I would end up being rejected like the unknowns who have sued Obama thus far. The birther issue needs a big name, political star to take the lead and seek the subpoena.”

You might want to ask your mommy what the difference is between a civil trial jury and a Grand Jury convened for a criminal investigation. And while you’re talking to your mommy, you might want to learn the difference between a “plaintiff” and a “juror.”

Now I understand why Glenn Beck said that birthers are “just about the dumbest thing I ever heard.”.

Abercrombie was trying to back up the words of those Hawaii Republicans and failed miserably. Do you not understand that??

“Failed” with whom? Birthers? How about we wait at least a few days to see what the Republican reaction is in Congress.

Here’s how Abercrombie’s efforts are playing with conservatives in Hawaii:

I didn't say anything about a civil trial. I quoted YOU directly. Did your Mommy tell you to ignore that these were your own words??

What am I supposed to be looking at?? This story doesn't exonerate Abercrombie's failures. This story doesn't say that Obama was definitely born in Hawaii either. It praises Lingle for trying to keep out the controversy, although it's not accurate because it ignores the July 2009 statement by Fukino and the radio interview you used to quote before I debunked your reason for doing so.

The poster I was arguing with had published a list of records that he was demanding including gramamr school records, LSAT and SAT scores, his parents marriage and divorce documents.

We all know that's a lie. I told you straight out that I wasn't "demanding" anything. I am simply asking the question "Why are all these documents hidden?" It's right there at the top of my post.

Do you always twist the truth?

I’m sorry that I used the word “demand”. I gave you credit for more spine then seems to exist. A question though, if your not “demanding” to see these records, how do you know that he is refusing to release them.

Based on what? My challenging you directly on your twisting of my words?

You can't possibly be that dumb.

If Obama has great grammar school grades, a good SAT and LSAT (what’s the chance of a great LSAT from a Harvard Law Grad) and he released these records without being asked, would you be cheering him as being open, or would you say he is bragging. Like I said, a politician or anyone else would be nuts to give into to your non-demands.

Like I also said, the Founding Fathers had an idea about privacy when they preserved privacy for us all with the 4th Amendment.

No, the Constitution and logical, consistent reasoning qualifies as conservative in my neck of the woods.
