(Jan. 22, 2011) — Yesterday an article was published in the Honolulu Star Advertiser entitled “Abercrombie Drops Quest for Obama’s Birth Certificate” written by an unnamed Associated Press writer. Here are my comments:
In an incredibly lame and cowardly anticlimactic announcement, hiding behind his spokeswoman Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie’s spokeswoman, in plain political defense, in the Hawaiian Sun Advertiser, said this:
There is nothing more that Gov. Abercrombie can do within the law to produce a document. Unfortunately, there are conspirators who will continue to question the citizenship of our president.
The Star Advertiser continues:
Abercrombie, who was a friend of Obama’s parents and knew him as a child, launched an effort last month to find a way to dispel conspiracy theories that the president was born elsewhere. The governor said at the time he was bothered by people who questioned Obama’s birthplace for political reasons.
But Abercrombie’s investigation reached a dead end when Louie told him the law restricted his options.
Here are several important points that need to be noted that only make the situation all the more suspicious to any reasonable person, Dela Cruz’s Hillary Clinton-esque “right-wing conspiracy defense” notwithstanding:
1 - Bad political news is always dropped late Friday at the end of the news cycle in the hope that it will disappear from general view. The timing almost conclusively suggests that they do not see this as a win for themselves.
2 - Rush Limbaugh has officially, albeit belatedly, entered the debate full-throttle with the opening of his show this same day, highlighting the absurdity of the Abercrombie quest investigation. This must have been pretty alarming to the Obama camp, as Limbaugh’s embracing of the issue is likely to make it safe for many others outside of Limbaugh’s 20,000,000-person listenership to do the same.

Courts or Congress can subpoena any documents they want from the HI DoH.
This is insane. The info is only hidden because Obama consistently refuses to authorize it. Even with this patsy Governor acting like such a friend of the Obamas, no one could get Obama to open up his personal info.
There is no way Obama is not hiding something, and now everyone in the world knows it, and most media doesn’t even ASK the simple question, “Mr. President, why won’t you authorize the release of your birth documents? Are you hiding something?” I did not know the media could go this far up the back end of a President’s alimentary canal.

I liked her suggestions tho, to contact the governors, AGs, etc, and *encourage* them...not unlike butterdezillions’s suggestions, although I am sure each of those laws to be considered could be ‘improved’ with the additions that butter has thought to add...

I had noticed it too. I have looked back at LP’s posting history, and he/she sounds like a liberal troll to me.
On a side issue, there’s this one:
“Are you saying that Obama (or any public official) could make public these intimate records and you could find something in there that would make you say, “Gosh darn it, he really is a great guy! I was wrong about him all along and now I support him!!!!”
Of course not, because you are not interested in an objective review of these records, you are just fishing for embarassing information.”
That one isn’t the most liberal of the lot; it’s just the one that most rubbed me the wrong way. I am not fishing for embarrassing information. I’m fishing for the truth.

Basically you're saying that since 0h0m0 made it by fraud into the Presidency that it doesn't matter, the rule of law be damned, people who commit crimes if undetected for a couple of years are in like flynn, and the precendent is now set it stone that any ineligible person can run for president - or heck, anything - and if they make it, woo-eee! Ha ha on everyone else!
That's not how our Republic was meant to be. The Big Dog wins and makes the rules to suit himself. That is nothing by tyranny.
