Her characterization of his leftist views is buried. Keep clicking to see more entries. It's obvious someone advised her to do this, IMO.

She was a friend of the shooter.

Yah, yer right on there. If I knew that little weasel I would probably have made some hay out of it too. But the last thing I would want is a bunch of those TV idiots chasing me around and camping out in front of my house.

I’d head for the desert, no need to turn your phone off in Brewster County ;)

Catie was a classmate, friend, and bandmate of the shooter. She was quoted in the NY Times pointing out the shooter was leftwing. This, more than even the flag burning vid, is destroying the Tea party/Palin connection myth.

>>You can delete tweets, why bother burying them heh.<<

One should assume every post on any and every place on the Interwebz is grabbed, cached and retained FOREVER!

That is why I do not have a Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YoUglyButt or any other “social networking” page.

There are maybe 5 people on Earth who can link FD2003 to my RL persona, and I trust them with my life.

People who use FB, twitter and the like with their RL identities are dumber than dirt, IMHO.

The Tweetstorm continues.

Dollars to doughnuts there is no mention of left-wing anything tomorrow morning on the front page of her twitter account.

In case anyone else is in the dark about “the 2012 prophecy”, as I was until just a few minutes ago, here’s some info:

This mornings NY Times has picked up her quote. Its out there and nothing can bury it now. I'm pretty shocked at the article. As another freeper mentioned-Maybe the NY Times is worried about egg on the face of the libs and is letting everyone know to cool the tea party link talk.

Well she knows Loughner more than anyone ever knew Obama at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard.

Why would anyone want to talk on the phone all day?
Why would anyone want to watch TV all day?
Why would anyone want to post threads on FR all day?

Its all how you use the the technology. Some people watch history channel and others watch Jerry Springer.

Thanks for the ping and post. To be fair, I don’t like Twilight, either.

That is the only area of agreement, though. ;o)

Why the hell would any rational person want to broadcast every minute of their waking day, or every intimate thought to the entire world? It’s absolutely idiotic, IMHO.
Back in the day we had CB.

In my own case, I find it is an opportunity to post a couple of thoughtful statements or articles on conservative political thought every day. I reach several hundred people, the bulk of whom can generously be called half-baked in their political views. I have lost count of the number who have told me, on Facebook or in real life, that they appreciate getting solid news and analysis from a wholly different perspective than they are used to when watching the idiot box.
