Might Gays Be Better Soldiers? (Barf)

With the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” looking imminent, the next question on America’s mind is what a military with openly gay soldiers will look like. Most experts, including Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Admiral Mike Mullen, believe that a repeal of the discriminatory law won’t at all endanger the military’s stability. And a large majority of enlisted troops agree with them. But what if a military that welcomes gays and lesbians with open arms doesn’t just not fall part, but actually shows remarkable improvement?

For decades now, scientists seeking to understand why people are gay have done neurological research on homosexual versus heterosexual brain patterns. Though these experiments might initially sound like phrenology, pseudoscientific hooey that attempted to predict mental ability based on the size and shape of the skull, in fact, they have been academic and replicable. And while there’s still no consensus as to what makes someone gay, the differences between gay and straight brains that these studies have uncovered are not insignificant.

Take the 2008 work of a team of Swedish scientists in Stockholm. Using magnetic resonance imaging and 90 male and female volunteers, the group discovered that gay men’s brains are strikingly similar to those of straight women, which might explain homosexual men’s proficiency at languages:

Using brain-scanning equipment, researchers said they discovered similarities in the brain circuits that deal with language, perhaps explaining why homosexual men tend to outperform straight men on verbal skills tests -- as do heterosexual women.

The only way to be sure is to compare the military performance of a unit of exclusively-homosexual troops to that of a unit of exclusively-heterosexual ones.

After a few brief minutes of googling the name of the author, it appears that he has an agenda.

Surprised?

No high horse here. What you are saying is that people will fraternize or harass counter to regulations regardless of gender preference.

The only way that Homosexuals will improve the military is if they are all assigned duties like “probing for land mines”, “dud testers for EOD”, “Checking if sharks are in bodies of water”, “Cleaning up nuclear wastes”, and other jobs where we don’t want to risk regular soldiers.

“1) There are homosexuals; 2) Gender preference has nothing to do with patriotism; 3) A nation can ill afford to exclude patriots from serving their country.”

Unless I’m misinterpreting you, this is a pro-homosexual stance. Jim Robinson has been clear this is NOT acceptable on FR.

A brigade of lesbians who’s cycles have synced all PMSing at once... that would be a brigade to stay the hell out of the way of.

The Spartans were said to be homosexuals. ... Having no family/children of their own, they would fight without regard for their own survival.

The Spartans were iindoctrinated as bisexuals. At the age of 12 a boy started a sexual relationship with an older man, who acted as a mentor.

Most Spartan men married sometime after the age of 20, though they could not live with their families until they were 30. On her wedding night, the bride's head was shaved and she was dressed as a young man, to help introduce the groom to heterosex.

The "300" that marched out with Leonidas were chosen specifically because they all had living sons that could carry on their line, as it was assumed the 300 would all die in battle.

The history of Sparta and the rest of Greece at the time actually puts a real good dent in the notion of "sexual orientation" in the modern sense. Most upper-class Greek men played a "passive" homosexual role as adolescents, an "active" homosexual role as adults with the next generation of boys, and also married and raised families. IOW, they were perfectly functional bisexuals. This was the norm and ideal of the time, and was not considered an aberration or disgrace.

The Greek notion of beauty and sexual attractiveness was so tangled up with the adolescent male that roughly 20x as many images of such have been found from the period as young women intended to portray the same ideal. It is as if we were to walk down the magazine rack today and almost every cover had a 14 year old boy on the cover to help sell the mag. The sex that sold in ancient Greece was that of pubescent boys.

Do you know how they separate the men from the boys in the Greek Army?

With a crowbar.

I’ve had friends who got hit on by homosexuals, but it never happened to me. I’m NOT complaining.

There was one guy in my circle of friends at my first base who seemed a bit “funny.” His roommate assured us that he was straight. We saw him out with girls, so we figured he just had weird mannerisms.

Later, he and another of our friends both got out around the same time. They both lived in the same direction so they shared the drive. The “funny” guy admitted to the other one that he was homosexual. To my knowledge, he never “tested the waters” or hit on any of us. He never showered at the time that I did, or stood too close, so I just let it go.

Regardless, I firmly believe homosexuality is not compatable with military service within the American Armed Forces.

At my following base, we had an investigation of the entire womens’ soft ball team, but that’s a story for another time...

That sounds a lot like the American Fashion Industry!

“3) A nation can ill afford to exclude patriots from serving their country.”

Good point. And just because I’m 52, I shouldn’t be restricted from flying and fighting. I’m a patriot!

Of course, I also was in Afghanistan in 2007, and 100 lbs of gear doesn’t carry as well as it used to...and my bifocals don’t help me shoot well, either. But I’m a patriot, so who cares?

Sure, people who have mental and emotional disorders make better soldiers.
Right.

In America the ideal of beauty, as put forth by the the fashion industry, appears to be 14 year old boys with large breasts.

And it's not only the scumbag Democrats who feel this way. Throw in a handful of Republicans as well:

Here is the list of GOP faggots, for ready reference:

1. Lisa Murkowski (R - Alaska)
2. Mark Kirk (R - Illinois)
3. Susan Collins (R - Maine)
4. Olympia Snowe (R - Maine)
5. Scott Brown (R - Massachusetts)
6. John Ensign (R - Nevada)
7. Richard Burr (R - North Carolina)
8. George Voinovich (R - Ohio)

Also, Senator-elect Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania stated prior to the vote that he supports sodomizing the American military. Every one of these sick scumbags must be defeated.

They might come up with better haircuts. And really well-coordinated and accessorized uniforms. And unique ideas for in-flight service for paratroopers.

2) Gender preference has nothing to do with patriotism; So why bring it up? Why is it a topic of discussion?

Maybe you miss the obvious? What does government imposed acceptance of disordered sex have to do with patriotism -let alone the individual freedom, freedom of religion, nd self determination said patriotism defends?

NOTHING.

“We have a live one, here!”

Jim Robinson made it clear that FR is pro-family and against homosexualism. He has warned persons NOT to post things supportive of homosexuality...At least he did before.

I don’t know if it is still his policy. Stormer is defending allowing homosexuals in the military because they are “patriots.” Specious logic, but definitely pro homosexual agenda. Homosexualization of the military being a prime goal.

IMO, Mr. Robinson should at least post a public warning to Stormer.
