Sound the Sharia Alarm! Campbell's Makes Halal Soups
October 7, 2010 Earlier this year, Campbell Canada introduced a line of halal-certified soups. The 15 soups comply with Islamic dietary regulations which, much like kosher regulations, prohibit certain foods and define the right way to slaughter animals.

I stopped buying their soups last year...I liked the tomato and chicken noodle soups, then started adding other ingredients to both and it really screwed up the flavor!

The only lamb I can find is Halal. Sometimes, I am also looking at some pork, and a package or two might end up in the wrong spot. Purely by mistake, you understand....they are kept right next to each other.
