as you know it indents the following text like this.

I also like to use lists:

numbered list:<OL>

<LI>
1. first item<LI>
2. second item<LI>
3. third item

</OL>end of list.

Bullet point lists:<UL>

<LI>
• first item<LI>
• second item<LI>
• third item

</UL>end of list.

definition lists:<DL>

<DT>

term </DT> <DD>

meaning </DD> <DT>

next term </DT> <DD>

meaning </DD>

</DD>

. . . and append </DL> to my previous post to close out the definition list . . .

If you want to link to a specific reply within a thread, say post #12, you need the URL link to that spot in the thread. You can obtain it simply by clicking on the number of the post within the thread. That takes you to the top of that reply - leaving the URL of that location in your URL window available to be copied.

I need to make a better, more easily accessible, indexed/table of contents listed FR homepage:

My assumption is that I could have a first page listing the table of contents with clickable titled topic pages listed thereon.

I have no idea how to go about that.

Is there a section of some tutorial somewhere that could help me out?

I'm not sure why it didn't work. I checked your html and it seems okay. For pictures, though, on FR, you don't need quotation marks. At a guess, perhaps those pictures have limited, rather than "everyone" permissions. Or maybe the problem is that it is https and not just plain old http.

I'm not sure.
