Whoops -- you're right. Here's a '66:

Definitely a better front end.

I’m on my 2nd Honda CRV. Just loved both of them. My 2006 is even better than the 2000. They never break down and the maintenance is very reasonable. Also good on gas.

This one. It's the last of the V8 Interceptors.

Just remember, $4 gas is being predicted for next year. (I personally think it will hit $4.50, thanks to all that “Quantitative Easing.”)

“Kathy Ireland has always been my favorite model.”
Until you hear her speak.
With the most whiny, high-pitched, baby-talk voice imaginable.
Sorry to ruin it for you.

If you're looking at new or very recent, the Subaru Forester is actually a good looking vehicle now, mpg is as good as or better than any that you listed, even with symmetrical all wheel drive. Compliant ride, the boxer four is a great engine, somewhat raised ride height equivalent to other CUV's. Five star safety rating.
Look at the nonturbo for the good mpg on regular gas, 28 hwy I belive, turbo for really decent kick, slight mpg hit, requires 93 octane premium. There's a upper midlevel model that's not quite as expensive as the full-zoot leather and everything, but it does have the heated seats with fabric upholstery, fog lamps and alloy wheels, with glass moonroof; that seems to be the best deal, low to mid $20's brand new, should be able to find an '09 for around $18-19k.
Here's a pic of a top of the line '09 turbo model, the 2010 and 2011 are virtually identical. Prior to '09, Foresters were not that nice looking, too boxy imho.

Sorry to have caused such strife in your household. Now you want one desperately and your wife is not happy with this. Get it anyway; after her first ride in it, she’ll love you even more.

I hear people like the Odyssey. But no one makes Baby drive in the minivan corner!

Get her a Harley Fat boy. Maybe she can find a little fun in her life.

I would have said 66 Bonneville. Or 65 Grand Prix. We are on the same page.

If I ever won the lottery I would buy myself and my kids a Ford Flex. In green. Or brown.

Twas a chain, not a belt. Yes they can be replaced, but once broken it’s likely caused valve issues, etc...

Yeah, I had me a 66 Cat Conv. Sold it. Bad move. I WILL be getting another one.

She's worth it.

Actually, she went to a speach therapist, and was able to change a lot of that. Its not so annoying anymore. At least to me. At one time, it was awful, she sounded like at 12 year old.
I'd much rather listen to Kathy Ireland than Sarah Palin, you betcha. (I know, sacrilege on this forum)
