True. And I’d be willing to bet that more than 80% of the employees at food processing facilities are 3rd world illegal aliens with absolutely no interest in proper food-handling hygiene. And I’d also be willing to bet that the employers, as well as our federal government, are well aware that they are illegals.

IMO, staff the same facilities with poorly-paid and poorly motivated US citizens, and keep the current incentives for the facilities operators cut corners, and you will get the same result. In this case, as regards improving safety in the food supply chain, the “illegals” issues is a red herring.
