I don’t think the Jersey Gov. office has the power to overturn a conviction — this was the only option Christie had to get the guy out of prison. If you read about the case, the actual details were iffy, but he never should have been tried, and that judge was one of the ones Christie didn’t retain this year..;-))

Thank you. It had me puzzled. I’ve also learned, in the past few minutes, that Aiken’s lawyer asked for a commutation and not a pardon. That could be the reason (pardons not being possible).

It looks like after these libs screwed up the North they moved South. Won’t be long before they screw up Utah and Texas
