When I was a little kid my grandmother had some 78 and 45 records with Yogi Yorgesson singing various comedy songs. I had a number of favorites including one about Christmas (one part was about Papa getting drunk I think) but everyone in my immediate family along with friends hated these songs.
Haven’t heard any of these in years although I did find “Who hid the halibut on the poopdeck” on the web a few years ago.
LOL! That brings back some memories...
That "halibut" one, and more, including two Christmas songs, here:

Loads of great stuff at the Internet Archive.
I'm listening to some Jean Shepherd (the radio raconteur who wrote and narrated "The Christmas Story" movie about "Ralphie" and the "Red Rider" B-B gun) right now:

I think the ball was picked up by Stan Borenson a while back. He and Doug Setterborg out of Seattle did a whole bunch of Yorgie’s stuff, including “Yingle Bells.” My favorite is the Lutefisk Song sung to “O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree.” Of course there’s “Walking in my Winter Underwear,” sung to the tune of “Winter Wonderland.” Borenson has a website and I ordered a couple of CDs. Pretty funny stuff, in a Norwegian/Swedish kind of way. Oh yes, how could I forget, “I Yust Go Nuts at Christmas.”
I know I may make somebody mad and I just want to say I have nothing against Elvis or the song Blue Christmas. But I cannot stand the Elvis version of that song. It is the a off key (to my ears) ooooo-oo-oo-oo-oo in the backgrond that drives me crazy.
And anything by the Chipmunks is a station changer for me too.
