See, THAT’S why I love late autumn; there’s a special, stark, simple beauty in that scene that you only get for a few weeks each year, wedged in between multi-colored October and pure white December. Some peple find that time very depressing; I think it has a beauty all its own.
You have a gift. It is a gift of seeing beauty in all your surroundings. One of the things I liked from this sunrise is the deepening into the deep purple at the top. It was taken this December 6, I think, up in Minnesota.
