I found this while searching for music cds for Christmas. Not sure how the younger generation will like it, but I sure did.

The song isn't quite repellently horrible.

Was that what you're after...?

I prefer Rush Limbaugh’s version of “Born Free.”

A hard to understand American Patriot with a genuine love for our country. (preferable to Springsteen, IMO)

It doesn't sound anything like the original.

LOVED the State farm video. Endured about 7 seconds of the Kid Rock stuff.

I like him..he is about the only thing that ever rapped that I do like

His affection for Dixie and unabashed defense of Southerness to the point of that historical battle scarred flag he hangs over his mantle at his Michigan digs endears him to me.

In any event I salute he, his patriotism and Michigan...I know plenty of solid crackers here in middle TN from Michigan, they are under no illusions, share my traditional views and I am glad to have them.

not sure where he found this love of Dixie?...his dad’s people I think migrated to Michigan from AL or MS for plant work from his grandfather’s generation...before WWII
