Off subject a bit but Be cautious of Tung oil and Lindseed oil when refinishing wood projects as it is extremely combustible when the soaked rags are left in a pile in the building. On the other hand keep it in mind if that drug house becomes a problem next door, especially if it is left under a pile of newspapers and kindling on their back porch...

Ooooooo! Thanks for that advice!

I really like using tung oil on wood as a rub in finish. I used a 100% purefood grade tung oil on a custom made butcher top for an island in our kitchen it was made out of ash, the darn thing weighed a little over 750 pounds. Took me over seven weeks to rub in and let each coat dry. Seven 7 coats into both sides of the counter top. Turned out beautiful.
