Somone said that if Cruz were against Reagan, they’d be against him just like Trump.
That got me thinking.
Actually, Cruz might well be a stronger constitutionalist than Reagan, who got rolled with supreme court nominees.
I’m happy if Cruz gets elected. Just want to vet him before Iowa/New Hampshire and tend to favor Trump.
I don’t want to see any Tea Party leader get in trouble, but dangit! We have to know within a few weeks if Cruz is vulnerable.

Regarding Goldman Sachs Loan...

The Challenge
[quote]
Erick Erickson’s homo Red State doing their best to cover up for Cruz.
[unquote]
The Shell-Game ...
That form is not to the FEC. July is when Cruz had already beaten Dewhurst, and the money listed therein is said to only be between 100 to 200 thousand.
[unquote]
A watered-down trick — ‘I sent the form’ ... no, not THE form, a form to someone else.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And ... watered down amount of money ...
[quote]
That is a financial disclosure form, with Cruz’s debt being listed as part of his personal liabilities (iow, does not disclose he used this money for his campaign.) It’s not the entire loan either.
[unquote]
It was closer to a MILLION dollars, right? Not 200 thousand.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ducking the FEC ...
[quote]
Also, the filing for the FEC is more vigorous, since the entire purpose is to make sure there was no hanky panky between Goldman Sachsâ of which Heidi Cruz was VP forâ and the Cruz campaign, so Ted is required to give them all the paperwork for the loan to insure that nothing untoward was going on.
[unquote]
So yeah, he sent a form, but not to the FEC which does REAL campaign finance investigation [which I hate, BTW — campaign finance laws are too complicated and perverse, which helps the Establishment/Ruling Class destroy less-than mega-rich tea party candidates.]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now for the press spin and apparent coverup ....
[quote]
The ‘press’ information Red State cites is from 2013, obviously after the campaign was already over, and after Cruz had sold his supporters on the idea that he had liquidated all his assets and put them toward the campaign.
