Was that email was sent on an unsecure server?
While this does not match the headline, it seems clear to me that here is a smoking gun of another kind:
If she failed to follow security protocol, she had endangered special forces as well as US allies by sending out that email. It revealed plans that could have tipped off ISIS. And since she pointed out the need for ‘surprise’, that makes it that much worse.
