The Perverted California Primary System

Harris would have slaughtered Duf Sundheim in November, so I wouldn’t mind this atrocity so much if GOP voters would do the smart thing and vote en masse for Sanchez, to stop Harris, a possible future candidate for President/Vice President, from winning and making the rats regret this system.
However as shown from a previous race for State Education commissioner (officially nonpartisan and always elected this way expect no party labels are listed) Republican voters are too obtuse to use this power. They could have elected a moderate rat over a wholly-teachers union controlled rat in 2014, but they did not, the worse choice won narrowly as GOP counties divided their support.
Harris is leading the polls by a wide margin and will win. It sounds like most Republican officials are smart enough to prefer that Harris loses, but what are they doing about it? Little to nothing.

I think Trump outdebated Hillary at every step:
But he did out-debate her at every step:
1. Economics.
2. Morality and corruption. [Only one aspect of debate BTW.]
3. Gun rights.
4. Foreign affairs.
5. Border policy.
6. Immigration policy.
The only area where she shored up support was through government handouts and the polarization of abortion. She had those idiots anyway.
Trump had been thrown off balance more in previous debates when she attacked his business practices. He took it in his stride this time and turned the tables: “If you allow me to run this nation the way I run my business ...”
Yeah!
And he pointed out the ‘stupid’ trade deals, the stupid Iran deal, Russia ate their lunch in Syria, Iran will be nuked up ...
And the way he turned the tables with the Chicago riot — big zinger there.
About right.
Trump kept hammering that Hillary shouldn’t even be allowed to run. That really needed to be said. He mentioned the broken law, the sleazy campaign, and the corruption as reasons.
