Donald Trump held a town hall style event on Thursday, and his first question was from a woman who appeared to criticize his hard line approach to illegal immigration.
The woman began by saying she was from Southern California.
“You live in Southern California? What are you doing here? Are you a liberal Democrat, by any chance?” Trump joked at the Exeter, New Hampshire, event.
She continued by saying she had friends who immigrated to the US illegally.

Trump responded by accusing her of asking the question on behalf of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont), a left-wing Democratic candidate.
“Who told you to be here? Bernie?” he asked her. “No, no, this is a Bernie plant. This is a Bernie plant. All right, OK, I understand your question.”
The questioner no longer had her mic after that, but the same woman reportedly then yelled at Trump that immigrants were part of the backbone of the US.
“I don’t think so, darling,” Trump shot back. “I don’t think so. I don’t think so. No, I don’t think so. They’re not the backbone.”

The impetus for the gathering was a POLITICO story where Chaffetz, the chairman, of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, was quoted as saying that a pending probe into government record keeping practices would not be “specifically trying to target the secretary, but when she creates her own private email system, she’s ensnarled herself.’Â Presented with the quote before publication, House Republican leaders were taken aback, saying they told Chaffetz to steer clear of Clinton in his broader probe of the use of personal email addresses to conduct government business.
House Republican leadership is moving cautiously when it comes to Clinton. Ryan and McCarthy have been clear about their preference that the FBI handle anything Clinton related. But Chaffetz’s comments led to confusion in Republican leadership...

I remember when popular email boxes weren’t over crammed. Well, Rush was crammed. But then I received a few quick responses from Hannity and regularly emailed Paul Weyrich.
It was Weyrich and my humble self who spearheaded the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.
He sent out a historic press release and wanted me to help broadcast his live on-air confession. I notified Hannity who can verify it. Hannity responded, “Is he crazy?”
Tom Fitton [Judicial Watch] could also confirm Weyrich’s stunning confession. And I would be surprised if Major Garret failed to hear about it, since he worked in America’s Voice shortly afterward.
We had groomed Monica Lewinski. Weyrich confessed that he had recruited her personally. She was a peach and a real trooper.
