Thank you, vigilant. I don’t think I’ve heard the term slobber-knocking before, but it fits! That game is always tough. I remember one from back in the ‘60s, perhaps it was when Mike Kolen was on the team. We won unexpectedly. On the playback the next day, the Bear says at one point, “Now you Bama people can turn off your tvs from this point on. This next play is enough to make you upchuck.” LOL!

I woke up this AM still feeling relieved. Those outside of this competition have no idea how much rides on this game. It isn’t “just a game.” I included the story how an entire college building was donated because of this game. And that is just one incident! There are so many more things that just don’t get told much. So, I am relieved. Our win makes life a tad bit more comfortable. For the next year.
