I’d rather keep the money in my pocket and spend it on something I actually want.

That would be a fantastic way for our dear president to make history, and be completely unforgettable!

I think it hilariously that Charlie Crist would take out a banner ad from a web site called “Mars Daily,” he knows his audience.

This could be an opportunity! Anoreth and Darks, being so small, could be shipped for less cost ...

We had the technology to hoist a 1,000 ton habitat to the moon 60 years ago, but lacked the vision and will. Had Project Orion been pursued, we’d already be on the moon, Mars, and the Jovian system.

but lacked the vision and willThis would be the same vision and will that 0 and his fellow Democrats showed in passin the "stimulus bill" and 0bama care? Except for something even more worthless.

"Had Project Orion been pursued, ..."
Those days are over. Now NASA is busy trying to get muslims to feel good about themselves. We have no launch vehicles, we are squandering our know how, but when NASA is done, muslims will feel good about their efforts in space!
But humans will explore:

For what? Red rocks and red dust? No thanks
Now find that planet where those green-skin Orion girls are, and I'll get my check book.

Kind of like Antartica except a lot colder, no air, no significant water and about a million times more expensive to get to. We have valuless rocks and dirt here. The space cadets seem to think these is something worthwhile on other plantes. If Mars were made of pure gold it wouldn’t be economically worthwhile going there

Then Charlie Crist is paying for ads going to folks in Illinois. oh, and the "local" ad on the other side was for Illinois Tax Amnesty, so the server knows where I am.
