Is anyone involved in the excavation working for NPR? Statues of Buddha are offensive to muslims and they could get fired.

I am one who enjoys the archaeology posts so much. They remind me that mankind is richly dimensional and has created many points of view from which cultures understood the world and their place in it. The remnants of the past are fascinating. They are relics one can see and touch that have traveled forward as emmisaries of our past. It amazes me how little the nature of man has changed over the centuries.
