It's the news her legion of male admirers have dreaded voluptuous Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is going on a diet.
The 35-year-old, who has a stunning 39D-30-39 figure, has told friends she wants to lose more than two stone (28 pounds) to conform with Hollywoods svelte stars.
Christina has become an icon of curvaceousness, thanks to her role as Joan Holloway in the Sixties-set drama.
Christina has got sick of all the talk of her being the curviest woman in Hollywood. For her it basically meant she was being called fat, says a source.
(snip) Christinas cut out carbs, and alcohol, although shes not a big drinker. Shes eating fish oil to break down fat and pak choi and edamame nearly every meal. She hopes the first stone will fall off in the next month or so.

Cushion for the :>)
If she lost,perhaps,10 pounds it might be an improvement but 28 is silly. If forced to choose,I’d go for a woman who was 10 pounds overweight before one who was 10 pounds underweight.
She should get a nose-job, too, that way she can look exactly like all the other Hollyweird has-been bimbos.
Tonight is the last show of the season. Can’t wait to see what happens.
She apparently needs use of a girdle to keep her curves going the way she wants them. Also, as a woman gets older, it's hard to keep extra pounds attractive.
Get the past season CDs at Best Buy and catch up.
Silicone doesn’t care whether you diet or not. It will be the same size and shape as before. Personally, the overpowering presence of SILICONE is a turnoff to me. Anything more than a mout.....! Er.....ah... you get my drift?
She’s a heffer!
Taylor Swift, Brooklyn Decker, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Catherine Heigl .... for starters.
Here’s a few more so you can look at to judge for yourself ...

IMHO, she’s totin’ a ton of silicone there, and she appears to be so out of shape that it’s a struggle for her to merely carry a purse!
Nothing wrong with that if one is an Angus bull.
I have noticed that in recent episodes she has been looking a bit thinner, at least in the face.
***On a somewhat unrelated matter: is Mad Men any good? I’ve never watched. ***
I love Mad Men, a very well written show - actors are very good, too. And Christina is a fabulous character. Just when I think I can guess what is going to happen, I get thrown a curve. JMHO, of course.
Look at her collarbone! Look at her face, at her arms. How can anyone think she is fat?
I reallyreally wish there was a ‘like’ option on here!
I think she looks a lot heavy from the chin down...
