ALCS and NLCS 2010 live thread Yankees vs. Rangers--TBS Phillies vs. Giants--Fox World Series will be on Fox
10/3 Rangers no outs
Yankers fans are fleeing the stadium!
Rangers retired.
Bottom of the 9th
Andy Pettite looks like he pooped em.
Good.
I think they got it in the bag, My. Congrats......but don’t count the Yankees out.
One out. Gardiner on 3rd.
Jeter at bat
I never count them out.
Jeter is out.
Now I can breath!
This game...sigh...been a Yanks fan since birth...Texas has shown the Yankees about ego checks at the door. Texas has displayed more passion for this series and the want and will to win.
This has been painful to watch.
1 win away now for Texas...this was a killing.
That’s it BL! 10/3 One more to go!
The Yankees are short on pitching.....that’ll be they’re downfall.
Hard to believe the only playoff team with a losing road record in the regular season is still unbeaten on the road in the post-season.
It is a curious record.
Well, The Rangers arent deep on pitching, as was witnessed tonight.
Does Sabbathia have any left?
We shall see.
I am really gonna be pissed if Ex Indian CC has a successful game tomorrow.
We’ll see....or he’s three innings and out. If that happens the Rangers may well be resting at home waiting for the next go round.
Yoko Ono probably has more body hair.
If the Rangers and Giants end up in the Series, will the fact that Molina has catched the current SF pitching staff for the last few years be an advantage?
(With apologies to any Yankees supporters...) Can Texas win the AL pennant today? Or back home? Ironically enough the team used to be the (second) Washington Senators, the team we cheered for to beat the “Damn Yankees” in that famous musical. You gotta have heart, all you really need is heart! Heard last night’s game on radio due to work; wish I could have seen the stands at Y-Stadium beginning to empty late in game...
Ping for today’s doubleheader
Texas 90-72 (Road: 39-42)
NY Yankees 95-67 (Home: 52-29) TV: TBS
4:07 PM ET
TEX: C.J. Wilson (0-0, 3.86)
NYY: C. Sabathia (0-0, 11.25)
Rangers lead series 3-1
Giants lead series 2-1
It was strange watching last night’s game without seeing periodic shots of George Steinbrenner in the owners booth. I’m sure he’d have had a scowl the last two nights and been looking to fire somebody.
