Germans reportedly want leader to "send foreigners home"; over 58% say "religious practice for Muslims in Germany should be seriously limited."
Ten percent of Germans want a “Führer,” and one quarter are strongly xenophobic, according to a poll released on Wednesday, reported German news source The Local.
The poll, entitled “The mainstream in the crisis – Right-wing extremist attitudes in Germany,” was conducted by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation for Political Education.
Those who wanted a “Führer,” said that he should "govern with a strong hand for the good of Germany," and believed that dictatorship is a the preferred form of government.
More than 30% agreed with the statement "foreigners come to abuse the welfare state," and even more (31.7%) said that when unemployment is high, the government should "send foreigners back home."
Over 58% said "religious practice for Muslims in Germany should be seriously limited."
Older and less-educated Germans were more likely to be intolerant, according to the poll.
Study authors Oliver Decker and Elmar Brähler called their findings "an alarm signal for politics and society," The Local reported. Decker and Brähler also said that right-wing extremism increased during the current financial crisis.
This time however, the target is perfectly understandable.
I never understood that either. No logic since Jews don’t like to terrorize or blow up ‘infidels,’ but prefer to have a safe place to live. They go and thrive and contribute. I hate dehumanization, but Muslims should be reading their European history instead of Koran more often.
Muslims already treat non-muslims as subhuman. They call them the kufir. They are not afforded the same rights or protections under the law. They pay stiffer penalties for offenses committed against muslims than offenses BY muslims against non-muslims. They have no religious freedoms in muslim “lands”. They are prohibited entry to certain segregated “muslim only” cities under penalty of death.
And yet they cry “intolerance”. Waiting for the so called moderate majority to denounce the intolerance of dominant Islam.

I suspect that 10% (at least) of the population in any country would like to have a “fuhrer” ordering them around. Ten percent probably aren’t clear on whether the earth orbits the sun or vice versa, for that matter.

No need to round them up. Just use nukes....just like we did the Japanese.....
I think it has more to do with the way muslims interweave sharia and religion.
There was a recent case in Switzerland, for example, where a man was acquitted of using physical force to compel his wife to have sex with him. He did use physical force, however. That's rape for a Swiss citizen.
His defense was that he was a studious and strict muslim. He said although he does respect Swiss law, his studies have convinced him that sharia is the best way of life for all people. The judge bought it.

Like the US, people here are tired of liberal judges. They want immigrants to follow the same laws they do. Frankly, they're pissed off.
That's just my opinion.
