This sounds like a great program, with lots of Rossini. I’ll have to listen to it over KUSC.
We have a great concert coming up November 5 in Pasadena/ Sierra Madre area (So Cal). Pasadena Community Orchestra, under the direction of Alan Reinecke, presents a FREE concert of orchestral favorites. The concert will feature Mischa Lefkowitz, first violinist with the LA Philharmonic, playing Haydn’s 2nd Violin Concerto in D major.
Concert starts at 8 pm at Pasadena Nazarene Church, 3700 East Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena. See website for more information: www.pcomusic.org. Do come. FReepers welcome.
Interesting. Think I´ll listen. Thanks.

I love Rossini!
As I am debating if there is too much Rossini here, my head is bobbing to the delightful music, and I am typing to the beat. No such thing as too much Rossini.
Thus far, this is a better concert than I thought it would be. I figured, that as the opening concert it would be good. But this is nice.
Thank you for the ping, sitetest. Enjoyable concert, and I’ve bookmarked the link.
