Melancholy 2012!!!

Watch what you wish for, Justa! You know what I would do. Give the communists the transformation they wished for so long, instantly. The country of laws would become the country of MY LAWS, instantaneously.

I'll deal with the commies swiftly, especially the ones who complain and ask for due process. Granted, it'll be MY due process.

I promise I'll give the country back after I clean all the trash and REESTABLISH the respect and following the Constitution.

I admit, it must be something to have such an absolute power and mighty difficult to abdicate!! ;-)

TSR, no offense, you make a great VP, in the old system! LOL!

Hey "Subject" Justa!

I don't need no stinkin' VP, not in my new DNA...absolute power governs absolutely. No patriotic American, like TSR, will ever approve what I would be doing. I don't need my conscious for a few months, working as a garbage man disposing of the trash quickly and efficiently.

Thank you for your confidence, I won't forget that. In the new short era, you may be rewarded as the head of the ASPCA, controlling wookies and other animals, mercifully though!

repeal Obama care and do an investigation on Obama, most don’t believe he’s eligible to be the president.

You don't have to make Zero to veto, simply override his veto! The U.S. Constitution allows Congress to override the President's veto with a two-thirds majority vote of both the House and the Senate.

If we are lucky we will get a bare majority in the Senate. No way we could override his veto before 2013.

>>>>the FCC

Sorry, but the FCC is one of the things the Federal Government needs... do you want anybody and their uncle setting up over the air broadcast TV & radio stations willy-nilly on the same tv radio frequencies trying to out blast one another? Without the FCC, that’s just a small sample of the things you’d get. There is a legit ned for some regulation on the federal level... there are reforms the FCC needs, yes - but total abolishment is not the answer.

Then pass an Amendment. If not, let technology sort it out.

Regulation of Interstate Commerce is already an enumerated power to the federal government. The FCC is in part, governing interstate commerce.

Reduce spending. Reduce government. Reduce taxes.

Bull. Mission creep is how we got to a point where the Feds feel they can regulate IntrA-State commerce under the same penumbra.

No thanks. That is one of the things that needs "fixing".

If there is a real need, then passing an Amendment ought to be a snap.

Personally, I think a private agency would do a much better job.

I disagree. Private companies can not negotiate treaties with other governments regarding interference of RF signals... that’s one of the things the FCC does under authority of the enumerated powers of the commerce clause, and the Senate’s duties in regard to treaties.

This is why government never shrinks. No matter how blatant the over-reach, it gores somebodies ox.

BTW... If you want a preview of what a PRIVATE run FCC would look like, look up the IEEE or Underwriters Laboratories.
