“The multi- tasking idea man Gingrich recently announced the first annual forum and gala in Washington, D. C., of The Americano ( TheAmericano. com), which he launched in September 2009 to share the conservative message with U. S. Hispanics, a fast- growing population segment that liberal Democrats assume belongs to them.

Gingrich said the December 2-3 event will include the former prime minister of Spain, Jose Maria Aznar, and California syndicated columnist Ruben Navarrette Jr., who often takes a conservative approachbut battles U. S. borderhawks.”

_________

Stick with Newt, and you will get nothing more than AMNESTY, global warming nonsense, etc. Gingrich is a JAR...Just Another Rino.

Don’t fall for his double talk...he pushed Bush’s amnesty, going so far as to pen a letter to the WSJ with Norquist, Tamar Jacoby, etc...ALL open border proponents.

TheAmericano. com - some heavy duty (in Spanish) hispandering! http://theamericano.com/

[snip]The Americano is a bilingual site that offers a different take on news and opinion. It looks to offer a more balanced view on all the issues that concern American Hispanics today, while celebrating the richness of Hispanic Heritage. It is a place where people can express themselves and read about similar traditional principles.

We have gathered a fantastic group of journalists and experts to offer you smart information on all the important aspects of Hispanic life.

The Americano is a company of Gingrich Communications.

Why the name, The Americano?

******Our site is inclusive of all americanos that have come to live to the United States.********(ALL of ‘em...legal or not!) Whether you are first, second, third or fourth generation Hispanic- or whether you speak English or Spanish or both- our content is catered to what unites us all which is our American Hispanic Heritage.

Why Newt might be the GOP’s savior among Latinos

Marisa Treviño de LatinaLista.net escribe sobre las múltiples iniciativas de Newt que buscan acercarse y crear un diálogo con los hispanos. Para Latinos, TheAmericano.com, y The Americano First Annual Hispanic Forum son tres excelentes ejemplos.

I gave up on Newt years ago. But thanks for the reminders. Typically I will tune him out, nothing special there.

As far as the Newt for president idea goes, he is completely unelectable. If he runs he is not serious. Just wants TV time, like Reverend Al.

Member of the CFR since 1990, tricked people in ‘94, I hope he isn’t able to get away with it again. He sure is making the rounds on Fox all the time, and even the people who claim they only support “conservatives” give him air time.
