I put it off for a long time, simply because everyone was saying "you have to read it."
It's probably worth it. I might read it again, in fact.

I’ve not read it, but I saw an interview with Taleb when the “Black
Swan” book came out. It should be a good read. I think he has appeared
occassionally on CNBC as well.
Two side notes for the general forum:
1. Although “Taleb” sounds a lot like “Talib” (as in Taliban), I think
he mentioned that he is Christian.
2. The “Black Swan” phrase originated from assumption that Europeans had
that there were only white swans...because that was all they’d ever
seen “back home”.
When the Europeans arrived in Australia they freaked out when they
saw black swans. In other words, an totally unexpected and freakish
occurence that weirded them out.
