You would hate my daughter. She has a greyhound/shepherd mix named Decaf and a three-legged Ridgeback named Chili. The cats were Skinny and Romie. But the names really fit the animals.
Black and Blue? The obvious name is “Bruiser”.

I'd name him Barry and I'd talk to him everyday like he was a dog, and I wouldn't treat him any better than one.

If he does have Blue heeler in him, he will be a great dog! Smartest dog araound as far as i am concerned! Call him DOG! Thats waht I call mine! Easy to say and they respond to it well!

Her sisters stayed with me.

Friend of mine had a Black Lab mix and when people would ask him why he was named Spot, because he didn't have any markings, he'd say, "He IS a spot!"
With my Black Lab I've noticed that she's SO black, when she's asleep curled up on the rug she looks like a hole in the floor. She does have slight white markings though -- a short white streak 2-3 hairs wide on her chest, and some white hairs on her chin.
Sorry, Blue Heeler. Don’t know why I was thinking of Catahoulas. But both Heelers and Catahoulas often have merle/roan/ermine markings (stippled black-and-white).

We got a rescue dog a few months ago. Part Italian Greyhound and part Catahoula. He had already been named “William”, which did not seem to really fit him. So we gave hime a middle and last name “Tango Fox”. That way we can monogram his collar “WTF”.....we just call him Tango.
Greyhound Catahoula mix, that seems like an unlikely combination.
