Walther makes a great pistol. I have to believe that the guy limp wristed it and allowed the casing to get caught in the breech. BTW, hasn’t he ever cleared a jammed weapon before?

Oh come on. there’s no way to know that. that guy is old. his gun is probably just as old and never been cleaned or oiled. His ammo is probably 30 years old.

that’s why I like revolvers. you can leave them laying neglected in a drawer for half a century loaded up and they will still work.

He's probably like most suburban gun owners. He owns a handgun that he has only fired once in ten years. He has likely never practiced clearing a jam.

He was lucky he got one shot off, and that he was close enough not to miss.

Still, I'm glad that he did what he could.

If that's the case, it's still a bad ad for Walther. You can have all kinds of situations, and the right weapon will work if you are hanging upside down or laying on the ground or fighting dogs with it. This one failed. There are a few complaints on forums, but I have no personal opinion on its reliability.
