“...where the NYT critic said Nicholas Cage should be banned for life from acting.”
And that critic noticed just now? It was about time. That movie did something good for the world at least.
That list is nonsense. “Eat, pray, love” is so bad all who participated in it should be shot.

Me neither........
He's easily the most overrated actor since Julia Roberts.
Network is an excellent movie.
And pissed off the Hollyweird elite. Which is always great!!
i loved the expendables. it was just one of those great cheesy action movies. i agree that the tight camera was annoying as hell, but otherwise it was cool. and no i am not a teenage boy.
That movie was good? It looked bad to me.
I don’t care to see any of them except Furry Vengeance. That’s mainly because of Brendan Frasier, and I’ve liked him since Encino Man. Still, I can wait for Netflix.
If you don’t like movies where you’re not sure what you just watched you shouldn’t watch any Nolan movie. He’s big into nature of reality stuff and open to interpretation movies. All of his stuff away from Batman has a “maybe this story isn’t what you think it was” ending.
I have a new one: Legion
Worst film I’ve seen in a long time. Boring even for a zombie movie, and the only good potential surprise got blown in the previews.
It was hilarious.
The fact that his career is so bad nobody will give him money to make do own material anymore.
I’ve always liked Rio Bravo, it’s one of my favs. That being said, I still believe ElDorado with it’s similar plot was the superior of the two.
Wayne was great as always but Mitchum was better than Martin, Caan was better than Nelson, Charlene Holt was waaaaaay better than Angie Dickinson, Arthur Hunnicutt was pretty equal to Walter Brennan, and Michele Carey was hot.
MHO.
Dark Knight was only that good because of Heath Ledger as the Joker. That was the first truly evil character of any of the batman movies, and he pulled it off perfectly just like the original completely psychotic Joker from the comics. The other movies usually wanted you to sympathize with the bad guy in some way.
Avatar was Ferngully and Dances with Wolves. In addition, I saw a plot synopsis of Disney’s atrocious Pocahantas with a few minor changes such as names that perfectly described the plot of Avatar.
You have to keep in mind what Mad Max was. It’s a micro budget indy movie. Movies like Max make into the same theaters Max made it to 30 years ago: arthouse. It got sequels because it made a stunning amount of money for an indie flick that mostly hit arthouses and somebody wonder what that team could do if they had a budget and stuff. That’s why Mad Max 2 was called Road Warrior here, since nobody saw Mad Max here they didn’t want to announce it as a sequel so they gave it a stand alone title. Sadly half the script team, IMHO the important half, died inbetween Road Warrior and Thunderdome, which lead to way too much talking and not nearly enough action.
You forgot the stupid narcisistic/new age/feminist movie with Julia Roberts: “Eat, Love, Pray”!
