Yes, I started an extra magnesium pill a couple of weeks ago. Not sure if it helps anything....

MKH...a couple of things: I've found that when taking supplements, etc. it make take awhile for the benefits to show up. If you're starting with a deficit, that has to be overcome, and your system may well take several or more doses to begin to heal.

Also I talked to the health food clerk at the store, and she recommended either a liquid form or a powder to be dissolved. Both of these are absorbed faster.

She said the liquid form was quite effective, but many have trouble with the taste, so I may go with the powder.
