I don’t know why, but I question the validity of this article. Are they full relatives, or half-relatives?

The article was written to sucker people who don't know anything about population genetics. The results themselves just showed that one portion of Hitler's family's DNA is more common among certain non-German groups, including ones in southern and eastern Europe and some parts of Africa, and among Jews. But even among Europeans with this marker, most aren't Jewish (or African).

If they wanted to definitively answer the question about Hitler's supposed Jewishness they could very easily do so by sequencing the same family members' autosomal DNA. I'm sure they'll eventually do so, but chances are good we'll never hear another peep about it from the Daily Mail because the results won't sell papers for them.
