13. Drivers who think there’s no speed limit in the left lane.

I consider the left lane to be the passing lane. There is no limit, but you need to be passing somebody.

In the left lane, you're either passing or blocking.

Talk about using any argument, no matter how fallacious, to be able to do whatever you like! The speed limit for the passing lane is the maximum speed limit posted for the road!!! The traveling lane may have a minimum speed limit, say 45 mph, when the maximum speed limit is 70 mph. This means that someone driving in the traveling lane may travel at any speed between 45 and 70. Drivers using the passing lane are supposed to be traveling at a maximum of 70 mph, the maximum speed limit for the road. If you are driving over 70 mph on a road posted 70 mph, you are speeding and breaking the law, not to mention possibly driving to endanger. Not that hard to comprehend.

It truly sounds like some FR posters are trying to rationalize breaking the law and then castigating other posters for getting in the way of them doing it! Speed limits are set for everyone's safety. Police don't give tickets for observing the speed limit. They give tickets for drivers exceeding the speed limit as they are the drivers who are behaving dangerously. The logic on this thread by some posters is bizarre!
