Any other 30 year old movies you havent seen? I still haven't seen any of the Godfather movies, Psycho, North by Northwest.
There are more, but those are the ones that everyone tells me were great movies.

Please allow me to say that Godfather and Godfather 2 are movies of such amaazing quality that they could be described as a lost art at this point.

You are all set for the remainder of the summer. Those are all great movies worth seeing, IMHO. I’m a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock movies, BTW.

I got to see the Godfather for the first time when they re-released it for the big screen in '97. I was expecting it to be overrated. I was very wrong. I went to see it again a week later. I liked it just as much the sedcond time.
Psycho is an important movie, but not a "great" movie. It was ground breaking in its time, and Perkins was born for the part.
North by Northwest is very good, though a bit uneven, and a little farfetched at the end. Another good Hitchcockj to consider is Strangers on a Train.
Not on your list, but consider "The Third Man", "A Touch of Evil", "The Philadelphia Story", "The Maltese Falcon", "All About Eve" and "Sunset Boulevard."

Hitchcock’s Shadow of a Doubt is definitely worth seeing. None of Sir Alfred’s other films come as close as this one does as something that could happen to one’s own family.

I still haven't seen any of the Godfather movies, Psycho, North by Northwest. The Godfather is simply one of the best American movies ever made, period.
And if you like Hitchcock and Cary Grant, I think North by Northwest was the best film they ever did together. It also has James Mason as just about the suavest bad guy in movie history.

North by Northwest is great. Of course, it has Cary Grant in it, and everything that has Cary is great.
It just came out on blu-ray, and my friends and I had a big movie night watching it. It’s got some good features too.
There is a scene in it where Cary walks up the steps to the UN. Hitchcock could not get permission to shoot Grant in the UN, so he filmed him from a laundry truck undercover.

Of those you mention, I'd say only Godfather 1 & 2 are real must sees. But they really are must sees. I would rank them among the top ten best movies of all time.
