Yeh we did a little diff Eq in our calc class. Professor jumped ahead, lost most of the class.

There's a big conceptual leap between Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. A good teacher will warn--and prepare--his students.

My problem with Diff Eq is that it was taught by a math professor instead of an engineering professor. Math theory is OK if you are a math major, but for engineers, I would have learned much more if the class had been geared with engineering applications in mind. My textbook maybe had one CSTR tank problem and no RLC circuit problems.
