It will take the usual traffic that must drive the switchbacks and cross the dam. That would be people that are driving from Kingman, AZ to Las Vegas, NV. Much shorter route to Las Vegas for anyone using I-40 from the east than going all the way to the 95 and then up to Vegas.

It connects Arizona with Nevada. Since it’s only a two lane road over the dam, it’s a perpetual traffic jam. The bridge should help a lot, it should have been built decades ago.
