AHHHHHH.
Even as a teen I hated it.
The literally deafening levels of sound are beyond absurd, addictive [as research shows—resulting in similar dopamine highs as drugs] and abusive.

I must be resistent to that addiction. I frequently go multiple days without a single rock tune. If I have quality classical music, movie soundtrack, etc. — I’m just as happy. I appreciate the beat and intensity.
