Ever since I watched Clint Eastwood's movie, "Every Which Way But Loose", I have loved Orangutans. Add that to my love of dogs and you will understand that the story of Suryia the orangutan and Roscoe the hound dog would sooner or later grace this site. The duo became mates after meeting at a South Carolina sanctuary for endangered animals. They are now inseparable as Suryia and Roscoe can be seen swimming and playing together daily around the sanctuary.
      
The narrator of the video is Dr. Bhagavan Antle, who has his detractors like Carole Baskin of "Big Cat Rescue".  Like Carole, Dr Antle is an animal rights wacko, he is also the founder of the animal sanctuary he runs.  I must admit he is good at what he does, but it is fun to watch those on the left attack other leftists.  This is but a bit of what he says about the orangutan and the hound at his sanctuary.  

"He, the hound dog, followed us through the gate and ran over and found Suryia. As soon as he saw Roscoe, Suryia ran over to him and they started playing. It was unusual because dogs are usually scared of primates but they took to each other straight away. They will spend a few hours each day together rolling around, swimming. Suryia will take Roscoe for walks around the enclosure and even feeds him some of his monkey biscuits".

For those who have been personally attacking my motives for these video via comments or nasty freepmails, let me say in my defense to all right now that I do not make a penny from hits to my site. I do not even know what the number of hits I receive for almost two Months. I was asked by my hometown newspaper if I would be willing to write a blog for them and I agreed.

I usually write pertinent articles about current events, but as of late I have been dealing with many personal problems at home that has preoccupied much of my time. I also have a ping list of around 800 Freepers I notify when I post videos or articles articles. Although, as I said my personal troubles have made it difficult to even care about current events as of late, so I have found it refreshing and a bit calming to my soul to post videos I find that make me laugh, or smile. If I can make others laugh also, then I think that is a good thing.

However, like I stated, I do not make a penny of this site and I am not under any obligation to generate hits for the paper. I do know that if no one ever followed the links to my site from FR, I was told I would still have hundreds of visitors from locals who follow me from when I was a guest writer on the OP-Ed page of the ER.

As for those who may post my articles or videos, I have no control over what other Freepers decide to do.

That being said, I hope you enjoy this video that I did not find on YouTube.
