Why does he need a career? He’s a zillionaire.

I have a Catholic friend who knows Mel and once asked him why he still has to make films as he can just sit pretty the rest of his life.

His response -- Ennui and Boredom. He's got to do something to make living worthwhile. He just has the URGE to do something.

Maybe he should get into collecting stamps or something. Would certainly cause him less trouble.
