I am Looking for a group that helps protect Muslim women who are under threat of honor killing. I am sick and tired of this and either want to join a group and help out anyway I can or start a group. Since the government and the police seem to refuse to acknowledge that this exist we need to do something on our own. If anyone knows of a group please let me know.
they need to visit a nearest gun store. that would put a stop to it instantly.
Have you tried NOW? I hear they are concerned about women.
Where is Amnesty International on this issue?

This isn’t something just happening in some country on the other side of the globe. It happens here too.
Try a Catholic Church, or a Protestant Church. She could always join the Marine Corps and learn to defend herself, but that might be asking too much. Aren’t we instructed to celebrate diversity? Isn’t that the meme preached from the pulpet of post-modernism? If so, just stand back and watch. But don’t you dare come to any judgement concerning the cultures of others. That would be a crime.

As far as I know, no such entity exists.
If it did, the MoHotHeads, would bomb it and behead its leadership with rusty kitchen knives in front of video cameras while screeching “Allahu Foobar”, or whatever it is those demonic savages screech when they’re offering human sacrifices to their malignant moon god.
I completely agree some kind of support is needed for these women. However, with that said - these women need to make a permanent break from these abusive men in their families and then go through authorities to file formal complaints and move as far away as possible from these animals.
Honor killings are part of the ugly Islamic culture and Muslim religion. It’s disgusting and barbaric and should NOT be tolerated by any goverment. The “stoning” thing is very horrifying.
If I were a Muslim woman under threat, I’d buy myself a shotgun, a nice handgun - clean out the family bank account and disappear into the dark of night.
Contact an independent Baptist church. The folks there will usually be disposed to “put it all on the line” to help someone in dire need; and with all discretion.
If there is a specific part of the country, let me know. I know peeps.
I am not looking for anyone specific. I personally know no one who needs this right now. I have searched the net and asked in many places and I do not believe this type of organization exist. Perhaps I will have to do it myself. Anyone interested in helping let me know.
I’ve given this thought as well. The advice I’ve received from women’s shelters (in general) are the usual Lifetime movie of the week things : Business cards kept in shoes kinda things.
Establish an easy to remember phone number. You can do this with Google Voice. Make sure it’s not registered to an address. Again, Google Voice helps with this.
Get to know your local women’s shelters. They won’t be able to dedicate themselves to this cause, but they can favor rooms to you as are available.
Prepare living quarters in your own home for emergencies. Include facilities for kids and privacy. A muslim woman seperated from her family will not even be able to go outside. Remember that. She can do NOTHING to help her situation in the first few stages. That includes getting a job of any sort or even returning cans to provide. This will be all on YOU in the first few stages of liberation.
Start applying for non-profit status. Track down a grant writer (Again, your shelters all use one.. they are usually students and are cheap and reliable.. I know a few in my area)
Make sure your non-profit status has NO mention of it’s purpose. It’ll be the first place a family goes to find their property (Tongue in cheek, please)
When it comes to rescuing an endangered person, it’s a fine balance of private action, and public presence to get funding. I would suggest taking on two lives : One that does the public funding, but another that “launders” efforts into the public presence (Think $50 pliers and other black ops).
I can’t see this being easy, but I can tell you that your primary funding will come from church donations. The tough part is minding yourself perfectly (Like you’re a spy or something.. you need to be almost invisible to protect yourself and your clients) yet you’ll need to be very public facing to handle the extra demands placed on you because of the nature of your clients.
After awhile, you can qualify for a large house in the middle of nowhere and get to relax a few of those harder points.... Except for the NIMBY crowds.

Amnesty International. Went by their booth at the Warped Tour in Dallas this weekend, and most of the literature on hand was about this very issue. (FWIW, even a broken clock is right twice a day. In this case, they’re not acting too left wing.)
