Nasvhille is in two weeks. I’ll let you know. We’re finally north of Atlanta and on our way to the SC border. Every time I come back to the country I find the new menus at the various restaurants a bit challenging. It is different each time. McDonalds, Burger King are off the list, as is Panera Breads. Chick Fillet is still on. Cracker Barrel is usually “safe” but every so often I’ll hit a clunker.
Lunch is over. For the next week it will be yucky lunch-room food. Not much protein, over-cooked veggies and a lot of high carb fillers. I’m going to be hungry. If I have a strong will-power this will be a good thing. OTOH, even the safe foods won’t taste good.
I have family there. There are many parts that are still a wreck from the flood and won’t be the same for years. Has made the already slow economy worse. Zero has done zero for them, but they are making it on their own cause they are not whiners
